This is my very first conceptual work.
I really spent some time getting dressed up and putting on make-up. And shooting. Gawd, my self-shooting-technique is awful (I'm doing something wrong, I'm really sure about that ^^)
And editing was also difficult, because I KNOW I could have brought out more than this.

i think it's cute...the "wrong thing" in my opinion is that nothing catches the eye the first time you see the picture..the make up is well done and i love the background's color...it just needs more contrast...play with lightings and try to focus the light on your face because that's the important part here, and also bring out your eyes with more colour and light coz thay are beautiful..so show them off:)

Very very well done. I think you're being too harsh on yourself, lighten up! To me conceptual work is hard already because you want your idea to come across correctly. If this is your first attempt, I think you did pretty well.

And self portraits are difficult too. Practice will make perfect, or close enough too it. Until then, enjoy a job well done. ;)
